Community Arts Network SA (CAN SA) is the peak body for community arts in South Australia and is the principal source of community cultural development advice, information and support services in the State. CAN SA is a non-profit membership-based organisation, incorporated in 1980. A community based organisation, CAN SA builds long-term partnerships with other community sectors such as local government, health, justice, housing, youth and disability where we advocate for use of the arts and the engagement of artists and artsworkers to effect social change through the empowerment of participants.
